Hello, Kiddies! M. Night Shyamalan Is Bringing ‘Tales From The Crypt’ Back To Television
“Hello, boils and ghouls…”
You might be hearing that sooner than you think thanks to M. Night Shyamalan. Back in the day before the best movies came out on Netflix, there was this HBO show called Tales from the Crypt. It gave people nightmares from 1989 to 1996. Then, to top it all off, there was a spin off movie called Bordello of Blood that pretty much scarred us for life.
Fans of the show might remember that it’s actually based on a comic book of the same name. Since it was on HBO, the show was no holds barred. Graphic violence, profanity, gore, nudity, sexual situations, OH MY. If you’re looking for those things to continue, you’re a little out of luck. Shyamalan’s project is bringing Tales back for a two-hour block on TNT, not HBO. Still, it’s better than being Crypt-less. Check with your cable provider to make sure that when this premieres, you won’t miss a second.
The Crypt Keeper Awaits
Shyamalan is known for messing with people’s minds in his films. One twist right after the other is the way he rolls. What do you think he’s going to do with the show? Can you see him bringing back any actors or actresses that were in old episodes?
